With Pinhead's ultra-high power levels, he'd easily defeat both Freddy and Jason in combat. Unless of course this is the Hell On Earth incarnation of Pinhead where he lacks the human soul and spirit of Elliott Spencer to keep him in-check, and how he reverts back to that after he and Spencer were re-constituted in Hell On Earth is anybody's guess (this is a flaw in the theatrical version of Bloodline as well). I certainly don't see Freddy or especially Jason solving the box and wanting to call upon them. Furthermore, as Pinhead states in Hellbound, it's desire that calls them, not hands. Jason 2 with Pinhead in it being? Now as a major fan of all three of these characters and their respective series, I naturally would've gotten big-time amusement seeing all three in the same film, but one major and obvious inconsistancy with the Hellraiser lore occurs here and that's how Pinhead and the Cenobites have to be summoned by solving the box they can't and don't just materialize out of nowhere for no reason. How would you have felt about this ending had they used it? What could you have seen the plot of a Freddy Vs. Also at that point, Hellraiser unfortunately ceased being theatrical and New Line felt the character was too "low-rent" given that the Hellraiser films were no longer going to theaters and there's also word they felt Pinhead wasn't nearly as well-known or popular as Freddy or Jason (which I don't see how, as he's very iconic and easily one of the most recognizable and notable Horror icons right alongside these two). The Pinhead ending for FVJ was unused for several reasons, mainly since New Line didn't own the rights to Hellraiser or Pinhead, and likely didn't want to pay licensing fees to use him. Pinhead storyline for a sequel, neither of which came to fruition. After emerging from the darkness, he exclaimed "Now gentlemen, what seems to be the problem?" This ending sets up a possible Freddy Vs. At the very end of the film, Freddy and Jason were to be fighting again when chains suddenly materialize out of nowhere and ensnare them, and then our favorite Cenobite appears. Jason way back then was to have Pinhead making a surprise appearance. Writing library : Lavf55.12.0 / Lavf55.12.Not sure if this is common knowledge among some Horror fans, particularly Hellraiser, but one of the planned yet unfilmed endings for Freddy Vs. But when the master of dreams loses control of his monster, a brutal fight to the death is the only way out.Ĭast: Robert Englund, Ken Kirzinger, Monica Keena Uploaded By Line: In an attempt to free himself from a state of forgotten limbo, evil dream-demon Freddy Krueger devises a plan to manipulate un-dead mass murderer Jason Voorhees into slicing-and-dicing his way through the teenage population of Springwood.
